If music be the food of love, play on…
Please join us for our 40th Shorter Shakespeare Summer tour. Twelfth Night is a fast-paced romantic comedy with interwoven plots of cross-dressing and practical jokes, complete with music and songs from the period. Despite what you might have thought at school, it’s very funny and many people’s favourite Shakespeare play. This version will last an hour and a bit.
We’ll be performing in some of the venues we visited on our first tour in 1984 and some more recent additions. We provide basic seating and don't charge for admission; instead we’ll pass our hats round at the end. What you put in them subsidises our indoor stage productions.
We are touring from the 16th to 21st July to some great local venues -
Bramfield: The Queen's Head, Tue 16 July, 7.15pm
Bungay Castle Bailey, Wed 17 July, 7.15pm (in St Mary's Church if raining)
Laxfield: The King’s Head, Thur 18 July, 7.15pm
Geldeston: The Locks Inn, Fri 19 July, 7.15pm
Wenhaston Church Common, Sat 20 July, 1.30pm
Sibton: The White Horse, Sat 20 July, 7.15pm
Westhall: The Racehorse, Sun 21 July, 2.00pm
Please note: Tickets are NOT required at Bungay Castle this year.
As our name suggests, Circle 67 was formed in 1967 to bring high-quality theatre to the Blyth Valley area. With your support, we’ll keep going! We always welcome new members; so if you are interested in joining us, or simply want details of forthcoming productions, please contact us.
