We are an amateur dramatic society based near Halesworth in Suffolk. On this website you should be able to find all the information about us that you need to know, including details of our forthcoming productions, the history of our society & contact information.
During the COVD-19 lockdown members of Circle 67 have been keeping active and in touch with each other by meeting weekly online using Zoom and performing short plays, most of which have been written by group members. We have been recording some of these plays and are delighted that the authors have agreed for us to make a selection of them available online for your enjoyment via SoundCloud -
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we had to postpone our spring production of Nell Gwynn which was due to be performed at the end of April. It’s a great shame because the cast were thoroughly enjoying the rehearsals and we were looking forward to performing. Therefore, we will be moving Nell to our Winter slot in late 2020 or January 2021. If the situation improves we really would like to extend the run and take Nell out to some of our other favourite venues. We all need to support each other and some of the theatres, halls and hubs will be suffering while we are in lockdown. So come and join us…then come again.
As you will know, our next production is always The Summer Shakespeare. There have been many concerns about the viability of this production, foremost being the safety of our cast, crew and audiences. Unfortunately we have had to cancel our usual tour and scale back our plans to an online reading of The Tempest on Wednesday 15 July. If you would like to join us please contact us for the details.
